Hamza Shiban is a filmmaker and photographer with a background and profession in media and communications, based in Perth, Western Australia. He is a co-founder at #SupportYemen Arts Collective, where he worked on social justice, advocacy campaigns and short documentary films. He was the managing and video editor of Yemen’s Culture, art and Civil Society online magazine, al-Madaniya. Currently, He works with Human Appeal Australia, a member of the Australian Screen Editors and holds an Advanced Diploma in Digital Cinema from North Metropolitan TAFE as well as a Master’s Degree in Media Studies from University Malaya.
